Program to Learn supports Boy Scouts STEM initiatives

Program To Learn, Inc.

For Immediate Release

Program To Learn is pleased to announce our continuing support of the Boy Scouts of America Northwest Suburban Council on their STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) initiatives. In the Fall of 2013, Program To Learn loaned laptop computers and LEGO Mindstorms Robotic systems to the council for a STEM weekend outing in which over 30 boys earned their Robotics Merit Badge. Working with NWSC, we will create additional opportunities to further youth education in STEM areas outside the school settings. Through our partnership we will inspire, educate, and expose the youth in northwest suburbs to STEM based curricula. By working with the Northwest Suburban Council our goal is to be able to offer additional STEM based education and experiences to youth in our communities.
